i have a friend who wants a duck that lays spotted eggs, IS there a breed that does that? and if so which one?

I've never heard of one that lays spotted eggs. Doesn't mean there isn't, though.

i own ducks, but they are not who i am talking about... my friend just wants to know if there is one so she can get it.

Oh sorry, I need to read better. None that I know of lay spotted eggs. Cayugas can lay a black egg but it is just the bloom that is colored and if scrubbed off they are actually white. My cayuga lays a greenish egg that is getting lighter as she lays.

My mallards lay pretty olive green eggs. No spots, though, except for the mud.

I don't know of any species of duck that lays a spotted egg, sorry!
