So herea the deal. A few months back I rescuedsome very abused animals (chickens and perkins from a neighor). We built a gorgeous coop and now all the big girls are happy. The pekin I took to a sanctuary As one had a broken leg and the other 1 had a tumor so you can imagine that they were not in the best shape. However they left me with a couple fertilized eggs so I decided to put them in my incubator. I did everything correct down to the T except today is day 28 and there is still no pipping, Even though his body takes up the entire egg. I took egg out yesterday very quickly put him exact back as I had found him as I knew he was in position to hatch. The problem is his aircell doesnt look as big as pics Ive seen online because I think my humidity may have been to high. I'm monitoring the humidity and temp with multiple gauges including the actual incubator. Should I be worried. I've delivered many cats dogs and even bunnies and nursed everything back to health but this is my first time hatching and learning about humidity, air cells ect.... please will one of you duck/chicken genius help me?!?
