duck egg hatching

Hi i am new to this site. I have 4 chickens one of which went broody, she has been sat on some fertilised duck eggs for the last 4 weeks. One of the ducklings hatched yesterday and is doing well, however the 2 eggs left are showing no signs of hatching, is there any way i can tell if they are alive or not? thanks

i would try candeling them

what do i look for when doing that i have never done this before!!

How many days, I think duck eggs take 28 days. if its around the the egg should be fine. unless you keep opening the lid, don't open the lid during lock down you risk other eggs.

I have read about candeling and had a go, most of the inside of egg looks grey except for a small lighter coloured area on one end, what does this mean?

If its mostly dark then it is a chick/duckling in there. Give it a couple more days
