Ok so I have these duck eggs incubating that are about a week along. I have a broody silkie with 6 eggs. I have two more cochins that have decided they want to be broody with her on those same six eggs.

Hmmmm - could I move the duck eggs under them once I confirm they are both broody? (The silkie is for sure)

Or is it better to let them finish out in the incubator?

you could try but do it quickly so they dont cool off to much and i would watch them and make sure they kick them out. if it was me i would only do 2 eggs each to start with

I found out with my hatch of ducks that it actually HELPS to cool them about 10 minutes a day. So if you can get them under a broody in a reasonable amount of time, I would think they would do just fine?
