I just came home and checked my duck eggs and one of them is rocking:celebrate
2 have pipped into the air cell.
They are not due to hatch until next Satureday. Is this happening too early?
Also, my humidity is at 75%, is this too high?
Thanks

Congratulations!! Humidity is ok- but your temp may be high if they are starting to hatch this early. Another possibility is that they had started developing before you put them into the incubator.

4 eggs have internal pipping going on and I can feel them moving when I hold an egg. No external pips yet. How long from internal to external pip?

Ducks take a while. I put mine into lockdown a day or two early because I thought the rocking meant they were ready. They didn't hatch until their due date. So be patient. A couple didn't even finish hatching until a couple days after their official due date. Ducks can take up to 48 (some even say 72) hours to hatch. It is a LONG waiting game. Good luck!

On my last hatch all five of my duck eggs started rocking on a Wednesday, and I think a couple of them had internally pipped the air cells then. 3 hatched that Saturday, one on Monday and one not until Tuesday!! So the last one was rocking for 7 days before it hatched!! And they took 24-48 hours after external pip to hatch. Hopefully they hatch soon for you, but be prepared for a long wait....

3 pips this morning:celebrate not too sure about the other 2. I candled yesterday and one looked ok but not too sure about the other one.
I tossed one yesterday that really looked bad inside. There was a baby in it but it had died:idunno

We have 2 yellow bouncing balls of fluff this morning:weee:ya:jumpy
2 more are progressing nicely.
Had horrible storms here last night but all is well now.
