duck egg, stringy whites & clear yolk

We have a duck that just started laying (not sure which one though). The blue egg is a hair bigger than a robin's egg (yes, that small). We have had 3 of them so far that we can find. Cracking all three shows the same thing, a VERY thick white that doesn't want to come out of the egg and the noticable yolk (you can see the round blob) that has no color to it. Just a hint of smokey color would be the word to describe it. Is this a concern?? Does a cayuga lay blue eggs? She is very small (a banty duck perhaps?)
Forgive me if I should have posted in the duck section but egglaying came to mind first.
