Hi, I have 4 duck eggs in my incubator, all looking the same but I’m not seeing any movement, should I be worried?

Shall I wait till tomorrow eve to candle again before lock down or should I just trust the process and continue?

Iv read a few other threads and so many people see movement by now I’m worried!!

Depending on your eggs and the light you're using to candle them, duck eggs can be difficult to see. If you're seeing them well and still no movement, that doesn't necessarily mean they're dead.

I would candle them once more when you lock them down and hike the humidity up to at least 70% or whatever you do.

The eggs should look very full. Take a sniff of them too while you do that to see if you can smell any nasty smell coming from any.

I hope you have some hatch!

Welcome to BYC!

no nasty smells, just looked one more time before locking them down, my parents thinks he seen some movement.
Does this egg look ok for day 25? I’m worried they stopped processing

Not seeing any internal pipping yet. I don’t have a thermometer to double check the temperature inside, but incubator is saying 37.5.
Iv put them into lockdown now at what point should I check them again as Iv read not to open too much during lockdown.
I’m stressing they’ve stopped processing 😭

What day are they on now? That egg in the picture doesn’t look very good. You could take an egg out to candle it. Since no eggs have pipped, opening the incubator is really not dangerous

The picture was day 25. Still not seeing any movement at all I think we’ve lost them this time 😭

I cracked one as still no movement at all or change in eggs now for days, they looked almost grown but two had died 😭😭
This was first time doing this I’m sad they made to so far and this happened

You had them at the right temp, and provided the humidity throughout was averaging around 45-50% or so, and around 70 at lockdown, then they would have hatched if they could have. Ducks aren't quite as easy as chickens are to hatch. Maybe something was wrong with them. We just don't know.

Don't give up. I would try again and see if you don't have better luck.

Iv bought a new thermometer and to check the humidity so hopefully that helps the next ones I try.
I think the fact they were a attached the egg sac and looked so formed 😭 I might try chicks instead x
