Duck eggs disappeared!!!

OK, we are absolutely baffled! Daisy was nesting on 9 eggs day and night. We noticed a couple disappeared one evening. She continued nesting the remaining 7 for over 2 weeks. I opened the run and she came out, which was a bit unusual since she's been nesting. The nest looked empty so we went in to check and EVERY egg is GONE!! No shells, no holes in the run, nothing. The entry is rock solid and there's chicken wire and a roof over the run, so we know a large predator did not enter. We thought snake, but how in the heck could it get out with eggs in its belly. The eggs are larger than the wire.

Simply baffled. Any ideas???

That is sure a weird case Maybe she rolled them out of her nest?? Sometimes that happens with geese where they just roll eggs away? I’m no expert just an idea.

a snake that crushed the eggs in its gut then left. but thats just my guess

We thought that at first, but there's no way to get the eggs out!
