Duck eggs found submerged safe to eat?

My pekins have been laying eggs in filthy muddy duck-water. Does the protective coating make them safe to eat? I find them up to three hours after being laid. I love my duck eggs but don't want to get sick.

Nope either toss or cook and feed to the dogs, but I'd most likely toss
