Duck eggs haven't hatched??

Hi, my mallard duck has been sitting on her nest for about 5 weeks now. The eggs haven't hatched and now I'm quite worried. This is her first set of ducklings (and the first time one of my ducks is having ducklings) so I don't really know what to do. I've been very hands-off for the entire process and just let her do her thing because my ducks are half wild. I raised them but now they do their own thing outside and are self sufficient. Is there any way to salvage the ducklings?

I'm in the middle of my first hatching too so I'm no expert, but from what I've read if they've gone that long they probably aren't viable. There are some breeds that have longer incubations but most are 28.

Yeah thats what I heard...I just kinda realized it had been awhile and was surprised they hadnt hatched yet so I looked it up and realized how short the gestation period actually was. Thanks though.
