I recently ordered a batch of six Cayuga Duck eggs, on arrival day I saw our mail man throw the package of duck eggs labeled continuously with “fragile hatching eggs,“ over his shoulder onto our steps. (We filed a report) I let the eggs sit large side up over night in a cool room and put them in the incubator in the morning.
Today is day five for the eggs, they have been turned regularly, and the temperature has been stable, as well as the humidity. I was impatient to check the eggs today and decided to candle them. My first egg had a little dot in the middle with veins around it so I knew that one was fertile, but everyone after that was empty not a single sign of fertility. Is their a chance their is more fertile eggs and they aren’t quite showing yet? Or are we stuck with only one fertile egg?

They were probably addled, in which case they just aren't going to develop. Sorry, and best of luck with any that do hatch.
