Duck eggs

Hi i have 2 duck eggs that were put in thr incubator at the same time but are developing at a different rate on day 5 baby x had a heartbeat,baby e just had some veins and the red spot (Embryo) on day 7 baby x bigger not really able to see heart beat as clearly baby e can see heartbeat is this normal

It's not abnormal. All of my duck hatches have spanned 3-4 days. I've also found ducks do better with a slightly higher temp and humidity at about 40% until lock down.
