Ok, help me wrap my head around this. I have to crested and two runners. My husband brought in a butt ton of eggs yesterday. He gets a little complacent about bringing them in. Today I went out and found TEN. I told him no judgement if he didn't bring all of them in yesterday. He swears he did. How can this be?

How long have they been laying for?

I’m thinking they had them hid an someone uncovered them. That’s happened with me I’ll sift all through the bedding an no egg then go out the next morning and there is an egg I can tell has been hidden. Or you have some over achievers

Huh, yeah they do get a little buried. This is in their house.

They were probably just buried underneath all the bedding. One might of been making a clutch, they will cover their eggs each time they leave the nest.
