Same age as duck egg number 2 30 days and some hours. Again a little darkening near the air sac visible from outside the shell, not as pronounced as egg number one. Probably closer to egg number 2.

Translucent, I again punctured it removing the Shelf. No pressure, not nearly as much liquid as last time.

, all the liquid was has a membrane, holding a tremendous amount of yolk. Little evidence of development. This one failed earlly.

No, my candling light wasn't bright enough. Better now, still not great. Mostly, I didn't know what to look for, didn't want to disturb the process, and in my eagerness, refused (initially) to contemplate the possibility of more than one or two eggs going wrong
