Duck Escape

There is a lake behind our house, and in the lake are some ducks. One of the ducks came into our backyard and started to drink our pool water. We gave it food. It ate it. How do we make this duck go back to where it needs to? This is my first time with animals.

Can you take a photo? This duck may have been raised in someone's backyard - a domestic duck - and cannot fend for itself.

If that is the case, then someone who can do a waterfowl rescue needs to help find a new home.
