A male duck is favoring his foot. He’ll only walk on his toes. I can see the pad by his heel is swollen. Advice?

Looks and acts like bumblefoot. ...Sigh How do I treat this. Argh.

Mine do get grass half the day. We let them out after lunch.

Could you post another picture?

You'll have to start soaking the foot in warm Epsom salts for a few days to loosen the scab, and once it's loose you can gently tease the scab out with a pair of tweezers and a scapel, after its out, slather it with a triple antibiotic ointment and bandage the foot.

Ok here is his foot after treating for one day. Still has the black scab. I put another treatment on it.

Cleaned out coop and sanitized it. Later down fresh chips.

Hoping it’s clean enough. Ducks so hard to keep clean.
