He will bite you. But it doesn't really hurt except when he gets hold of the outside of your nostril and yanks on it.

Just keep your face away from his. We love our Hugo. The place he came from had steps on the front door and every day when the postman would come driving up, Hugo would launch himself off the porch and fly to the postman and chase him back to the truck. The postman, embarrassed enough not to report a vicious duck and refuse to deliver, would just honk til Hugo's mom came out and rescue the poor defenseless postman from a 4 pound duck.
