Hi all! Im doing some brainstorming here and looking for opinions.
I currently own 10 ducklings, they are about 6 weeks old I believe. Anyway, we are about half way done with their permanent pen and can't wait to get them moved in. Anyway, what kinds of feeders do y'all use for your ducks? Right now mine are just using a deep bowl and it works but is a little wasteful?
Also, I have a feed question. Right now they are eating flock raiser mixed with wheat and brewers yeast. I am wanting to come up with a more permanent feed mix that I can premix and know it will work until it runs out lol I'm thinking flock raiser, wheat, corn, sunflower seeds and brewers yeast. Then adding in some eggshells (ground in the blender) once they are laying. What I am struggling with is the ratio. Maybe half flock raiser and half of my own mix? Any thoughts?
