Duck Feed Protien

Hello!
I was talking about this on the chicken forums but was wanting to get some input about my ducks too.
I'm considering switching my whole flock (a bunch of hens, 2 drakes, 2 roosters) from a 16% protein layer feed to this Nutrena 20% Protein All Flock Feed and offering oyster shells free choice to the chickens that are laying. My question here is that while from everything I have read says the 20% protein is fine for the chickens, is that going to be ok for my two ducks?

Lots of people here feed Purina Flock Raiser with oyster shell on the side, and I think Nutrena is similar, so you should be okay.

I feed purina flock raiser 20% to both my chickens and ducks and have never had a problem.

Yes that feed is just fine for ducks. Try and make the transition slowly so it doesn’t shock their systems.
