I’m looking to get some more information on what to feed my ducklings. They are 4 weeks old. I fed them chick starter up until 2 and a half weeks. Then switched to lower protein, 18%. But now I have finally found actual duck feed at tractor supply. The brand is Purina. The back says it’s for ducks of all ages but I was wondering if that’s true? I supplement with brewers yeast on top. I already have 2 ducklings with leg issues. One worse than the other and am giving him vitamin b complex over treats every day. It’s day 3 and no improvement still. So I guess my second question is how long till I see results? And if you guys have any suggestions of what I could do better or should be doing. I’m a new duck mom!

If you are talking about Purina Flock Raiser, Yes, that is suitable for ducklings of all ages, although adding brewers yeast over top of their feed, at a ratio of one tablespoon per cup of feed wouldn't hurt especially with heavyweight breeds like Pekins that need extra Niacin due to their fast growth.

What kind of B complex are you administering, how are you giving it to them, and at what dosage?

MasterofClucker helped me out, I was feeding my ducks the Purina Duck Food and I couldn't get the 40lb bag anymore. I changed to Nurture All Flock. Just FYI it was suggested I add Brewer Yeast to the feed of the younger ducks, it seem to work with my Appleyards. They all seem healthy and happy. Two are 18 months and three are seven months, getting four eggs per day from the four hens.

I bought the duvert brand of vitamin b complex. I use 1 ml a day over mealworms. I’ll attach the photo of the feed I use.

That feed is perfect, I would keep administering the B complex, usually, the older they are, or if they have had if or a while, the longer the B complex takes to get in to affect.
