Duck flutters or twitches wings…a lot

sry for the late response, life made me late! Ha. I checked her gland, and it looks normal to my untrained eye. Yall mentioned ducks may do this when they are hot….I have been so worried about them getting cold, I have been bringing them inside throughout the day. Could it be just from coming into the warmer house, from the colder outside? I would feel dumb, but that would be fantastic news!

Could be what are your temps inside and out.
Ducks wear down under their feathers so they can handle temps that are very cold. Mine just went through around zero temps I can't say they were happy but they just laid around with their feet and legs tucked under them. They didn't even go into their coop much just mainly laid around. If you have ever worn or slept under anything made with down you know what I mean very warm. Mine also do the wing twitching after they have had a swim in the pool.
