Duck found dead / decapitated

Could a raccoon carry the whole duck away? One hasn’t been found

When my birds were killed, something was taking my dead birds, and I assume it was a possum. Do you have possums?

Could have been a fox or coyote. They will carry a body off. When a fox got one of my birds I did find feathers and followed the trail until I didn't find any more feathers and after searching around the area never found the body.

Coyotes or foxes don't normally take off the head.
