Hello wonderful community so I have a couple questions...
I started with 13 eggs and am down to 9 as of day 24 today!! On day 4 of incubation I lost power due to a storm for 20hours. I was surprised to find that I didnt lose them all. They didnt drop too much in temp due to preventative measures. I am however noticing I have about 4 that just arent where the others are. 5 of them are completely blacked out and great air sack size for hatch lockdown. The others still have great movement but I can see through the opposite end of the air sack. Still has strong veins. Do I separate and wait for them to measure correctly or do I put them in to hatch with the rest? Also when do I put them into lockdown tomorrow? Morning? Evening? They were placed in on Oct 20th @8pm exactly. When will I hear them making noise? Getting so excited.

Lockdown time is not exact, so you can put them in when it’s convenient for you. Since it’s a new experience for you, I’d recommend around 8 pm if possible. Even though a few have more space, I’d keep them with the others. They may well hatch along with the others right on time.

Keep us posted.:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy

Will do. I was told since I put them in the incubator in the evening that day doesnt count as day 1. So idk. I was going to candle them and place them in lockdown tomorrow morning!!!! So excited. I want to pop at them!!
