Duck hatching question - day 30 external pip 48 hrs

Hi! I’m hatching my first ducklings and we are on day 30 now. One of my ducklings externally pipped Thursday around 9pm. He’s chirping and making minimal progress. Should I continue to wait it out or help?

You could peel a little but any blood STOP. If she's still yawning or chewing not ready yet. I would wait another 12 hours.

Thanks! We had one hatch and another one died. Still waiting on the three other ones to hatch.

That’s the one that hatched and survived I’m sad about the other one dying. But I know that’s a risk - we still are waiting for the other three eggs to make progress

So one our ducklings just hatched about four hours ago but this one cannot seem to walk. Is this normal?

Give it some time. Given how long it took to hatch I'm guessing your temp was low. This happened to me and the ducklings were a little slow.
