Duck House Paint…Does Color Matter?

I am currently building a duck house out of untreated wood pallets and need to paint the exterior to protect the wood. I was wondering if there are certain colors that help deter predators or if it even matters. I was going to paint it with bright colors, but wasn't sure if that would just act like a beacon for predators. I am putting the house in a wooded area of my yard…would it be better to paint it to blend in with it's surroundings?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Wow, I do not know. Good question!

I wonder if you could paint it to look like a dragon at the mouth of its lair? Hmmmm, then the duckies might not want to go inside….

I am not sure either. I wouldn't think it would matter as the coop is stationary and not moving so it shouldn't attract predators.
