What things are required for housing ducks? How secure should it be? Do they compare at all in their housing needs with chickens? What is the best bedding? Ventilation? How much space? Sorry for the bombardment of questions. :)

They have pretty basic requirements, ventilation, predator proof! usually they don't need dedicated nests boxes like chickens, they also don't need roosts(exception being Muscovy, as for them a shelf is a nice touch) . I bed with shavings, i also have rubber horse mats down to help keep the floor clean, plus we painted it before we laid those down.

Tons of threads here on housing have a look about, as well, keep in mind ducks are not quite as agile, so high ramps, stairs should be kept to a minimum.
