Good day,
What can I give my duck for pain? And how do I know when he is in pain? He got bitten by a dog on his beak, luckily it’s not bleeding badly. Should I take him to the vet?

please help!

If you are able to take him to the vet (And don't mind the bill their gonna through at you) then thats great! Otherwise (if you rough it out like most of us here xD) please send some pictures!

Are you able to send another picture thats a bit brighter? He looks like he'll be fine. Just keep it clean, which he should be able to do as ducks LOVE to play with their bills in water, and check up on it everyday.

Can’t tell a lot from the picture, but if there’s a puncture wound anywhere, i’d take him to the vet. Maybe spray some of that vetricyn spray on it? But i don’t know if that would be safe to use around their mouths.

Bills injuries often heal just fine on their own and from your pictures it does not appear to be that severe. I would just put a little plain old original Neosporin on it or other poultry approved antibiotic ointment. You could also give some poultry vitamins if you wanted in some water on the side to help with the stress from the attack.

Is this better sorry he is moving a lot as he is scared I’m going to touch it.
I think it'll heal real fast. Its not that bad of an injury and I seriously doubt if he's in much pain... might just be like when we get a good scratch and it hurts for a good 20 minuets. We don't take pain killer for that and neither should they. Looks like he'll heal up really well!
