Duck in the tub

The hose outside isn't working, so we couldn't fill the pool today. Well, one of the Pekin ducks went from white to brown, so I brought it inside and put it in the tub. I'm sure this happens a lot, but it's a full grown duck! I feel really weird with a duck in the bathrub. lol Pictures, anyone?

Oh goodness, how'd she get so dirty? I have a blue and white and a fawn and white and I've never seen them dirty before.

It's been raining a lot here, so I guess she got in the mud. I just took her out. She's completely white again. I'll go get a pic.

Our Pekin female, Miss Quackers, has leg deformities, so when we use to have the big herd, they would topple her and run her over because she's so low to the ground. She gets just like your duck a lot!

Here's the after pictures. She's sleeping in the shower (which is off) tonight. She has a big bare spot on her neck and one under her wing that looks like it has dried blood on it. I'm not sure what to do but I thought I'd bring her inside.

By the way, her name is Muffin.

i have inside muscovies. they take a bath in my bathtub once a day. they are so cute in the tub. i love listening to them splash around and play.

I don't feel weird about having ducks in the tub. All 6 of ours live indoors so they get daily baths in the tub (good thing we got 2 bathtubs!)
