I have a 7 week old pekin in with her sisters who have a run next to our older ducks. Last night we noticed she wasn't getting up so we went in and she has her back toenail missing it wasn't bleeding much we made sure we cleaned it. We are thinking maybe one of the older ducks somehow got to her and ripped it out but we're not sure. Today we came home and she still won't walk fully on it she's eating and drinking but just won't get up. Any advice or ideas would help. Pictures for side comparison of her sisters and cuteness

Losing a nail is painful is it swollen? you can soak her foot in some warm Epsom salt water[don't let her drink it it's also a laxative] But it can really help with swelling.

Another issue can be niacin deficiency have you been supplementing any type of niacin for your ducklings? Brewers yeast, Nutritional yeast, plain niacin?

I would doubt if another duck tore it out. I would be more prone to think it got caught on something and got ripped out. I have never seen a duck go after another duck's foot. Usually it is a wing or feathers. Pain is probably what is making her not use it. I am not sure what they can be given for pain that is safe.
