I have four tetra tint hens. Good layers. But, I really wanted ducks. Not wanting to gamble with getting drakes in the six ducklings I would have had to get from the farm store, I got chickens instead. Two died. The rest are doing fine. Hopefully at some point another poultry house will be built so I can get a few khaki Campbell ducks. In the meantime my chickens are quite spoiled, as my hopefully future ducks will be.

Hopefully you get a chance to get some ducks soon. Try ordering them from a hatchery if you want to make sure you get all girls! I got mine from Metzer Farms, and it's nice not needing to worry about re-homing drakes.
