So am building a large-ish pen for my 2 ducks with the intent on getting them some friends.
What is a good mix of ducks? Any breeds that don’t play well with others?
Nibbler is very gentle and laid back. Peep is a bit feisty and very protective of Nibbler... so nothing that would be aggressive towards Nibbler

Also, ideally something that won’t fly away.

any recommendations?
Was leaning towards a couple runner ducks once we get the pen built

Are you going to be getting mix sex or females? If you already have a drake then you should go with ducks at least their size or close, white layer , Swedish, Rouen, Pekin. Golden 300, just a few that would fit in well.

Cool. Based on their quacks, Nibbler is male and Peep is female. I was going to get female ducks. Figuring 2 males I a small flock might cause issues and Nibbler’s legs still aren’t the strongest so I don’t want there to be any duck fights going on

Ducks will conflict when first meeting each other. At least khakis, rouens, and pekins do. Though if it's a female or females your introducing to your flock they should integrate. We got a single rouen from someone and she did just fine with our two males and four females. Over all, I know for sure that khaki campbells, pekins, and rouens can get along well together. But that also depends on the individual duck a lot to.

I would suggest females, and ducks their size then
