It is not the normal time for molting, but domestic ducks don't always molt at the typical times. Fall is usually when they molt their wing feathers, but I have ones that have molted in the summer and others all through the winter. Females will also molt down feathers to fill their nests with.

How old is she? If she is really young, ducks also go through an adult molt shortly after they fully feathered. I want to say that is at about 10-12 weeks.

If she isn't young, since this not a normal time for molting, I would give her a look over and make sure she doesn't have mites or anything like that. If she is eating and drinking fine and overall healthy with no parasites, I would not worry too much and assume she is molting at an odd time.
