I have a 4 month old pekin duck (supposed to be female) but I am noticing that it's voice/quack seems to be going away? I've heard the drakes usually lose their voice.. so what I'm asking is.. do I actually have a drake?
The tail feathers that could also determine if it's Drake are not aren't even curled so I'm not really sure what to think. Please help! New duck owner! I can get a picture.
It sounds like you have a drake :/...... You'll know for certain in the next few weeks, when it grows/ doesn't grow curly tail feathers. If you bought them from a hatchery/breeder, than I'd suggest that you ask for a refund.
