*** UPDATE***
WE KEPT BEASLEY INSIDE LAST NIGHT AND PUT HIM BACK OUT WITH HIS FLOCK THIS MORNING. HIS MATE, ROCKET, WAS EXCITED TO SEE HIM AND GOT HAPPY FEET WHEN SHE SPOTTED HIM. HE WADDLED NORMALLY OVER TO THEM AND REJOINED THE GROUP!! IM STARTING TO THINK HE TRIED TO PLAY US LIKE A FIDDLE TO GET SOME EXTRA LOVE 😂

Our Pekin duck, Beasley (3-4 months old) has started acting funny. Just started today. He bobs his head, can’t stand up without swaying, is losing feathers quickly, and rocking back and forth almost as if he’s drunk. He eating just fine, drinking just fine , but we don’t know what’s wrong with him. He will throw his head back and start rocking. Almost like head banging at times. We have brought him in, given him his own food and water and have him separate from the other 3 ducks we have. He gets frozen peas daily. We are worried sick about him. I have a video, but not sure how to upload it to the post from my phone. Please advise as to what could be wrong with our baby.

I'm thinking he may have a niacin deficiency it can present itself fast or come on gradual to where you never notice until it's full-blown. I'll get you some info but I think since it's an expensive way to find out and safe I'd treat for this and see how he does.

I could be totally wrong but being Beasley is a Pekin and they are notorious for this because they grow super fast and their poor legs suffer for it.. I'd also give your other ducks this liquid B complex too.. Frozen peas do have niacin in them but you have to feed an awful lot for them to get the amount of niacin they need daily. 100mgs.
And of course Vet care is always the best but we all know that isn't always feasible.
