I have a sand box swimming pool for my ducks. I have been using a rag and a little dawn to clean it. It is sort of disgusting now what is the safest thing to clean it with? It is plastic and I thought about using bleach but I was worried about the area around the pool while rinsing it out. Would it be safe for them to forage in it?

Well it thawed pretty quickly! Glad you paused to think it through.

Nice to hear from you today!

I'd just get a good bucket brush like they sell at the farm/feed supply, that is what i clean ours with.. no soap, no cleaners etc needed..

Oxine in the water helps the green slim build up as well. Bucket scrub brushes and a cap full of bleach to a bucket of water to scrub. Rinsed with the hose.

Great ideas! I haven't checked out the bucket brushes, never even knew they made them. I will make a point of it next time I go. A brush would be handy to clean out the water bucket and feed bowl also. Thanks!

Usually they are needed for your horses, goats, sheep .. llamas and so forth basically livestock.. I have them for the horses, the grain buckets and the troughs.. mine is a nice purple
