Duck Proof Chicken Waterer Ideas

Please help! I have ducks and chickens, and would like a duck proof chicken waterer solution. What I have now is one of these from TSC, pictured below. The chickens like it but the ducks ruin it for everyone (sorry ducks, but you are sloppy and messy). The ducks have their own watering station, but wherever they find water, they play in it. Also. it has broken down from sun exposure, and is worthless now. I spent over $30 on it a few years ago. I want a longer lasting duck proof solution. How about those nipples that can be affixed to a 5 gal bucket? If you have experience with them, please let me know. I have a couple of dozen 5 gal buckets laying around, and they have not broken down from the uv rays. Those I would like to use. Thanks.

No. The ducks have a separate watering bucket.

Then I would recommend the nipple option attached to the bucket like you were looking at. My ducks don’t bother those.
