So I was wondering today...
Does anybody walk their ducks like they do their dogs, on leashes?
lol
Has anyone tried this? It seems kind of funny to try. Although I'm not sure how neighbors would react. To duck people they might think, well there's nothing wrong with it.
OK, but I have another question too besides that one.
It seems like the poultry industry depends on corn and grain. And corn and grain aren't doing very well in the US. This worries me. If the grain industries were interrupted again, it seems like there would be no way of supporting poultry.
Does anyone have a backup option or some other way of taking care of them that might work if the grain were interrupted or disrupted?
The Midwest flooding last year showed this could happen.
So I'd like to bring up and collect ideas of how to take care of chickens and ducks by other means, as backup knowledge. Thanks.
