duck quetion please help

My little one was given a mallard duckling for easter but was only given 1. I have been reading that you should at least have 2but I can't find anywhere close to me that sales mallard ducks except tractor supply and they won't just sell me 1. So I was wondering if there is another type of duck I can get to go with it that will get along and be friends. Please help I'm new at this.

If it was me, I would get another duck close to the mallards age. I don't see why it would be a problem to get a different breed to go with your mallard. Unless you are wanting to breed mallards.

I have a wide assortment of all breeds, all just as lovable!

No it shouldnt matter what kinda duck it is you get. They do need a runnin buddy though

I would like to say thank you for all the help. On the way home today I just so happen to ride by a farmers animal market 4-H was having and I go 2 runner duckling!!! I'm so happy!!!!
