Duck rash on neck

I just got 4 little duckling on Easter and they didn’t have this rash, I changed their bedding thinking it was the hay, I keep their swimming pool clean idk if its the food I feed them chicken starter they just started this rash yesterday

Each one of them has it in the same spot? What kind of feeder are you using? Pekins should be fed a feed formulated for Ducks like Duck feed, Purina Raiser or All Flock, and adding a supplemental niacin source to their feed like brewers yeast, nutritional yeast, B complex or a poultry vitamin wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Balding is common with ducklings, but each one has it in the same spot, I'm thinking they are rubbing their necks against something, perhaps to get feed.

My saxonies all have bald butts, i think its just their down thinning naturaly before their next set of feathers come in. That also explains why they all have it in the same spot.

the rash seems to be gone I think it’s was new feathers coming in and maybe the hay was bothering them
