Hi everyone. I first noticed on Saturday that one of my ducks was regurgitating while I was putting more Mazuri feed in their pond. My hen was sitting on the edge of their pool (she had not eaten yet at this point) and starting scrunching her head up and regurgitating water. I watched her for about 10 minutes and she continued to do this on and off, drinking water and tipping her head back like she’d maybe had something stuck in her throat.

I was really worried and got a thorough look at her. No other signs of illness, and it seemed that from me catching her and massaging her throat it stopped, and she ate her food and acted normal.

This morning I fed them as usual, then came out a few hours later to sit with them by their pool. I noticed she was a little fluffered up with her eyes squinted, and sure enough she started regurgitating water again.

I’m really worried about her and we don’t have any avian vets nearby. It has been really wet and rainy here and I’m worried aspergillosis may be at play with the symptoms coming and going, but other than the regurgitating she breathes/looks otherwise good. And we have been changing their coop bedding extra regularly with the rain. All the other ducks are happy and healthy as can be. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on or how I can help her?
