I thinking about buying a duck run for my pair of call ducks but i have no ideas about which run i should buy and that it suitable for them to be in. at the moment I have a small pen for them but i would like to get them more room as cant let roam free because i live by woods any ideas would great also images thank

What kind of predators do you have?

How much average rain?

Average Temperatures?

Land Drainage?

we have foxes, badgers and also cat the gound is on a slope so it got good drainage it rain alot and the temperture varies so can be cold one day and the next it can be really hot

Foxes are quite sneaky and Badgers are fairly strong so the pen will need plenty of reinforcement. Are you looking for premade pens or building everything from scratch?

OIt would be cheaper to build. And it will be more sturdy against predators. I spent 300 dollars on one that was premade, my dog ate it in an hour. I spen 300 to build one 300x bigger and now my dog just sits and watches. Pahahahaha

i thought the premade ones would be better because i've got dog as well have you got any picture what yours looks like might change my mind on which one i get or build one

I gave it to a little girl for her critters. Most are alike and small. My coop and run are 4 ft wide and 10 ft long. It took 2 days to build

I used dog kennel panels for my call duck pen. I bought them used so they were cheaper and way easier then building something. I did add rabbit proof garden fence to the bottom inside of the pen that I wired to the panels for added protection. It has the small holes on the bottom and is stronger than chicken wire. Remember calls can fly if not clipped so add flight top netting to the top.
