Duck suddenly died

I have 3 ducks and a drake. Well 2 ducks now. One suddenly died while free ranging. She was young and healthy and not injured.
She was still warm when I found her. She and the drake were always to gather (raised together) he was still hanging besides her when I found her.
I have no idea why this happened.
Anyone have any idea?

Update. I opened her up. There was nothing out of the ordinary with her organs.

It happens. I expect it was a sudden cardiac death. Console yourself that she did not suffer. I had a 12 week old jumbo pekin die this year: he was sleeping in his pine straw bed with his head tucked under his wing, when I found him in the morning. His brother missed him for a few days, hanging round with me and shouting, but has now moved on to fully joining the flock. Your drake has other females to keep him company, so dont worry about him
