I made a short video for a class project of the first five weeks with our Ducks and Goose.
Also, thanks to the nice people at the Duck Sanctuary that helped us with our Goose’s Angel wing, we now believe we have the following breeds of Duck:
Charlie (aka, Chuckles) = Rouen (Drake)
Stevie = Black Swedish (Drake)
Brownie = Khaki Campbell
Yolkie = Khaki Campbell
Larry (now Larissa or Larri) = Blue Swedish
Curly = Blue Swedish
Moe (now Maureen, aka, Mo) = Blue Swedish
Big Bird (aka, Beaky) turned out to be a Gander. We are still trying to nail down his breed. He could be a Greylag, Toulouse, or possibly a Chinese or African Goose. It does seem as though a small knob may be forming.
