What are some fruits/veggies that are safe for ducks to eat? Any that aren't safe? I would love to have a list to reference when I want to give my ducks some treats!

Here’s a big list of good / bad foods! It’s an old thread, so perhaps a bit outdated, but still very good. It also has non-fruit / veggie options and supplements.

My duck’s personal favorites are watermelon, apples, grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, and corn. They also really like their own eggs, mealworms, and oats. Cut any larger treats into strips, slices, or bite-sized pieces.

You’ll want to avoid citrus, avocado, onions, and spinach.

To add on to the harmful foods. No green tomatoes. They have to be red tomatoes. They contain a solanine when they are green. Egg plant, potatoes and rhubarb are also part of the nightshade family too and are toxic.

Garlic also is bad for them. It's similar to onion.

Otherwise they can eat a most veggies.

Certain foods you want to limit. Like spinach isn't toxic, it just decreases their calcium uptake. So you want to give it sparingly otherwise you end up with soft shelled eggs.
