Duck was EATEN!!!

I let my ducks and one goose outside yesterday like I always do and a few hours later i saw 6/7 ducks walking back to their house. So i went down to the pond and I found a duck about 2.5 months old that was torn apart!!!! There were chunks of meat everywhere and a mutalated duck what could have eaten it!!?? I have a very small pond that they go in and all ive ever seen in it were frogs please help!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that!! What type of area do you live in?
We let our ducks and chickens free range for months and never had problems... Then suddenly a huge fox ran and snagged my biggest hen in the middle of the day with people around.

Free ranging is so awesome for the animals but you do take a risk with predators. If you don't have much wildlife like raccoons, bobcats or coyotes, id guess a neighbors cat or a dog possibly? Again it depends on where you live... I'm so sorry!!!
