Duck with injured wing

yesterday i got a few new ducks and i’ve been spending time with them and noticed the drake has a wing that is dragging he let me mess with it last night but i can’t tell if it’s broken or dislocated, do you guys have any advice? should i try taking him to the vet or is there something i can do at home

I'd give it a few days. It's likely to have been injured while being caught and transport. If he's eating and drinking I would not worry overmuch. Do keep an eye on him. Have you seen him using the wing? Stretching or flapping it? If so it is not broken.

thanks for replying, he hasn’t been stretching or flapping, he just keeps shifting it back into place but it keeps going down and the top drags a bit.

In a few days he will be fine; hopefully. At any rate, birds' wings heal fast and this is especially true if it's not broken.
