Duckies about to hatch

I just went to move the eggs to the hatcher and while candling guess what I found?

4 of the eggs where already starting to crack, 1 was internally pipped, and 1 looked ready to pip.

Only 1 out of the 8 eggs failed to develop.

It looks like I may have 7 new Black Runners coming in the next day or 2.

(of course I can't count my duckies before they hatch)

As of now 3 have hatched and are resting comfortably in the hatcher.

Since they are 2 days early I have to scramble in the morning to get the brooder set up.

Carole, that is condensation from the 80+ humidity.

We now have 4 as of this morning, so I really ned to get the brooder up and running.
