Of our two ducklings, the welsh harlequin cross hen is kind of a spaz, she follows me around but doesnt like to be touched. Being touched sends off a series of "Quack! Quack! Quaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!"
But if I am too far away from her, the same thing happens. She cant make up her mind, lol.
But my question is, the Pekin cross duckling, which I believe is a drake, like to press his head/bill into my hand and hold it there so I can pet the top of his head. He is the exact opposite of "Grey duck" (lol, yes, I know, original, daughter named her. She also names the drake, "Happy").
Do ducklings regularily do this with people they like or is it some kind of duck language I am not "getting"?
This is the first duckling I have ever had do this, to most, "freak out" seems to be a way of life.
