We do not know what breed they may be and was wondering if anyone might have an idea.

I'm thinking a Pekin and a Mallard. Though it doesn't have that distinctive two tone body. Maybe a Golden 300. That's the only other one I can think of that has a pattern on the face like that.

Just an aside, newspaper is not the best thing to use for bedding. It can be very slippery. Chicks and ducklings can get leg injuries when kept on newspaper.

The newspaper was just set out while they wandered our living room. We have what was reccommended to us as bedding in their makeshift brooder. Thank you for your concerns though :). We was thinking they may be a mallard and a pekin but wasnt too sure.

The yellow one looks like a buff orpington duck to me. Just because of the color of the beak. But ,aybe its just the lighting . and the darker looks like golden 300 to me as well.

I was thinking that too. I think we need more pics, @ChuckenChasers. For science, not just because some of us like @Julie Bird and I are duckling addicts.
You're so cute. Thank you for the tag. Yes. It's for the science because we are experts at duck. So more pics will allow us to analyze more and come to a conclusion.

Not sure how to tag people as of yet so hopefully you see this.

But for the sake of science I can agree to some more photos. I managed to find a couple more I took. It was the first time they went for a swim. Disreguard the pan in the pictures, it has been taken out. The chickens around the edge of the pool were just looking for the ducks. They dont like to be seperated from each other too long.
