Duckling eggs all dying after zipping has begun

I agree there is a good chance they are just resting, BUT you have to open all air vents when it's hatch time regardless of humidity. Hatching is very strenuous which means ducklings will get quiet and take breaks for sometimes hours at a time. It also means they need as much oxygen as possible. Ducklings hatching in an incubator with the vents closed would be like someone putting you in a sealed box and then telling you to break free.
Well there are air holes but theres a method to make the air holes bigger which is what i really mean

You can pull the egg out and look for movement
Usually they make a second hit 8-12 hours later then rest more
But I myself check my eggs if nothing has happened in 24 hours
Theres nothing. I will leave it in the incubator for tonight as i have some more eggs that could pip any moment. Very sad
